 Welcome to the MBC Nursery Page
Monumental Baptist Church Nursery provides quality, loving care in a safe, clean and nurturing environment to our youngest church members during all scheduled church services. Each volunteer serves on a rotating basis as needed.
Nursery is broken out into three age groups: babies, two year olds and the three and four year olds. Each age group has their own room with age appropriate activities, toys, puzzles and music. Our two, three and four year olds also have Christian videos available to watch. Our volunteers are stongly encouraged to interact with the children in creative play and learning to encourage spiritual growth at an early age. Additionally, we have a playground available for our nursery children furnished with new equipment meeting all current safety guidelines.
Security measures for our nursery begin with a direct line to our sanctuary sound booth. In case of any emergency the sound booth members are notified to alert parents. When the parents drop off their child(ren) at the nursery each child and parent is given a matching number for use in case of an emergency or the parent is needed back in the nursery. This number will flash across the main screen of the sanctuary during the service. We also have a firm policy that only nursery coordinators, scheduled nursery workers and parents dropping off or picking up children are allowed in the nursery area. During church services, especially when it is dark outside, the nursery doors are locked during the service as an added security measure making it necessary for anyone wanting to enter to knock first. We are currently undergoing renovations and upgrades to make this process more user friendly.
During any special events of the church, such as revival, cantata's or special dinners, our nursery is staffed by paid nursery workers. Paid workers are hired to allow our volunteer church members to participate in these special events.

Nursery Hours:
Sunday AM- 9:45-10:45 for Sunday School
Sunday AM-11:00-Noon for Sunday Service
Sunday PM-6:00-7:00 for Sunday Service
Wednesday PM-7:00-8:00 for Wednesday Service/Prayer Meeting during the summer months.
Wednesday PM-6:30-8:00 for AWANA Clubs - children are encouraged to participate in the AWANA Clubs (2yrs - 6th grade) but nursery is available if needed.
