Children's Ministry

Thank you for visiting the Children's Minsitry page. We are so happy you have stopped by. The Children's Ministry of Monumental Baptist Church has a wide variety of possibilities for your children. Our Children's Ministry is available for children ages 2yrs to 6th grade. There are ministries available Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday evenings. Below is a listing of all the ministry areas your children could be involved in to learn and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and fellowship with other children their age.
Sunday School: Sunday morning 9:45am-10:45am. There is a class for every age group from babies to 6th grade. Click here for more information about Sunday School classes and the teachers.
Children's Church: Sunday mornings during the adult worship service, children in K-4th grade join together for worship. Learning Bible stories, songs and Bible activities.
Childrens Choir (Seasonal): Held on Sunday afternoons before evening service. Children gather together to learn songs and musicals to perform for our Church family.
TeamKID: Sunday afternoons from 6:00pm-7:00pm during Worship service. A ministry for children from 1st-6th grade to help them learn more about Jesus. The class provides opportuinity for the children to learn Bible verses, Bible stories, life application, learn about missions and enjoy some fun recreation time.
AWANA Clubs: Wednesday evenings from 6:15pm-7:45pm during the evening prayer meeting. AWANA Clubs is a ministry for children 2yrs-6th grade. The children are grouped by grades and each week learn more and more about Jesus. AWANA is a school year program with awards and graduation in June of each year. During the summer our children will take a trip to the Fruit of the Spirit Family Farm. As we learn together what the Fruit of the Spirit are and how to live them each day. This program will run for the summer and AWANA 08/09 will begin again in September.
Vacation Bible School (Seasonal): Each year we gather together for one week and participate in Vacation Bible School. Each year has a different "Theme", for example this year 2008 we will be on "Outrigger Island" learning about God's Unshackable Truth Aloha style. For more information click here.
Other special events we hold are Breakfast with Santa, an Easter Egg Hunt and lunch, and our Pumpkin Patch Gospel Festival - a safe Christian alternative to Halloween.
